~~~~~~~~~~Our little TASTE TESTER~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At the end of day 1, we had each gone through 1 flat of raspberries before we ran out of sugar, pectin and containers :( We contemplated what to do...go to the store & buy more supplies (including mason jars...in which Anna already had tubs of them already at home from her wedding) or call it a day and reconvene tomorrow. We opted for the 2nd option. So we divided up our supplies and restocked for Saturday.
Day 2
Anna: Bi-Mart run-Lids for mason jars (I decided to go mason jars today, they were just too cute not to) and more of her pectin* plus she was bringing all the mason jars...over 50!!
Katy: Fred Meyer run- 25 lb. bag of sugar, 1 large Karo Syrup & more of my pectin*
*Each of us used a different recipe...weird, yes...I know :)
Day 2 was a lot more organized than day 1...we knew what we were doing!!
Day 2 spectator...Auntie Kelly took our taste tester to run errands
